Jbel Siroua
Rising to 3304m, Jbel Siroua is a spectacular ancient volcanic massif that bridges the gap between the snowy High Atlas and the rugged Anti-Atlas range. This is a land of contrasts: dramatic black basalt peaks and "petrified" lava needles stand guard over lush valleys and terraced fields. Famous as the Saffron capital of Morocco, the Siroua region offers a deep dive into authentic Berber life. You will encounter nomadic shepherds, explore fortified communal granaries (Agadirs), and walk through a landscape that feels like another planet.
Jebel Saghro
Jebel Saghro is a land of striking contrasts. Located between the lush High Atlas and the vast Sahara, this volcanic massif is a cathedral of black rock and golden light. It is a world of "inverted mountains"—where ancient lava flows have been carved by erosion into deep canyons, towering mesas, and needle-sharp pinnacles. This is the ancestral home of the Aït Atta, Morocco’s last great nomadic confederation. Walking these trails is not just a hike; it is a journey through a living pastoral culture. Guided by the Aït Atta and their mules, you will cross high passes and hidden oases that feel untouched by the modern world.
Toubkal Ascent
Mount Toubkal, standing at 4,167 meters, is the highest peak in North Africa and one of Morocco’s most iconic trekking destinations. Located in the High Atlas Mountains and starting from Marrakech, this two-day trek is perfect for travelers with good fitness who want to reach the summit in a short time while enjoying spectacular mountain scenery and Berber culture. The trek lasts two days and one night, with accommodation in a mountain refuge. The difficulty level is moderate to challenging, and the best period to climb is from April to October. During winter months, special equipment such as crampons and an ice axe is required.
